 Mission of Yarbrough Elementary School's Media Center: 
The mission of the ACS librarians is to inspire learning, connect curiosity to resources, and spark a love of reading within our school community.

• The library is an essential part of students' academic and emotional growth. The Yarbrough Elementary School's Media Center strives to support all students in finding a love for learning, reading, and critical thinking. Our center wants students and staff to be lifelong learners, readers, and thinkers.
• Within the library, our mission is accomplished by granting access to materials, implementing instruction that promotes interest in reading and using information, furnishing a variety of resources that appeal to individual students, and providing opportunities for student creativity with technology and hands-on activities.
• The library works to develop the 21st Century Learning Skills of collaboration, cooperation, digital citizenship, and global learning.
